Job Description
Power Distribution/Controls Engineer
Norwalk, Iowa area


Duties:

Will function as Controls and Power Engineer.
Will identify, implement and manage multiple improvement projects.
Will review, coordinate and oversee power distribution and utility projects and methods.
Will review, coordinate and oversee automation and PLC control systems.
Prepares detail cost & savings analysis of new process equipment & installations.
Define plans, programs, and estimates to management on assigned projects and keeps project on-schedule and on-budget.
Evaluates existing processes and equipment and makes recommendations for modifications to save money, improve quality and reliability.



Requirements:

Must have Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
5-10 yrs manufacturing plant experience
Experience with large industrial AC/DC motors-5000hp and up.
Experience with industrial PLC controls-design, implementation and troubleshooting.
Strong documentation skills.
Strong computer and interpersonal skills.
