Job Description
A leading manufacturer is seeking a Product Development Engineer responsible for design and reverse engineering of mechanical components related to industrial engines. The qualified candidate should have experience with internal combustion engines or other types of rotating equipment and also working knowledge of various material types common to natural gas engines. This position requires knowledge of manufacturing methods including casting, forging, heat treatment, machining, welding and plating. In particular experience is valued in machining and casting. Also experience in working with very tight tolereances is required. Bachlor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivilent preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience required. No relocation assistance provided. Will consider candidates from nearby states.
