Job Description
SUMMARY:
Join a rapidly growing and very profitable water treatment company as you lead their expansion into the
Industrial
Water Treatment marketplace. By leveraging over 100 years of dominance as the worlds leading groundwater services company, our client is expanding their historical municipal product and service portfolio into the
industrial
market. As a Senior Account Manager you will lead all sales activities within a geographic region in the areas of well drilling and rehabilitation services, high volume turbine pumps, pump repair and maintenance services, raw water and wastewater treatment
equipment
, construction of wastewater and surface water treatment plants, pipeline and sewer rehabilitation, well field design and development, pump installation/storage, and aquifer maintenance and remediation.
The ideal candidate for this technical sales role will meet the following criteria:
- 4-year Engineering or Technical Degree (Chemical, Mechanical,
Industrial
Engineering highly preferred)
- 10+ years of direct sales experience calling on Municipal and/or
Industrial
water treatment customers
- Technical expertise with water hydraulics to include: water well drilling, aquifers, high volume vertical turbine pumps, lift stations, mechanical water treatment unit operations, filtration systems, ultra filtration (UF), reverse osmosis (RO), sludge presses, and clarifiers
- Prior experience with products to treat volatile organics and other contaminants such as nitrates, iron, manganese, arsenic, radium and radon in groundwater
- Exposure or expertise with
industrial
boilers, condensers, cooling towers, and/or specialty chemicals is a plus
- Consultative, problem-solving selling approach with strong relationship management skills with all levels of plant personnel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid drivers license with good driving record
Compensation includes a very attractive base salary, sales commissions, vehicle allowance, laptop, phone, excellent benefits, and bonus plans. Relocation will NOT be offered. LOCAL COLORADO CANDIDATES ONLY PLEASE.
