A manufacturer of Hot & Cold Water Plastic Pipe Systems for the plumbing, heating & air conditioning markets in residential, commercial and industrial applications is searching for an Application Support Engineer.  The Application Support Engineer position has ben created due to the fast expanding PE-X pipe market and very high future growth potential in PP-RCT pipe, it is seen as a strategic growth opportunity in North America.  The Application Support Engineer will be an expert in application and processing technologies used by the customers and will have the responsibility for technically developing, installing and maintaining solutions at the customer. The Application Support Engineer will be based in a home office located near and airport and will:
  • Provide expert technical advice to core customers
  • Co-develop core customer technical strategy with sales and marketing
  • Support value creation
  • Support technical innovation
  • Pro-actively identify IPR opportunities (patents and infringements)
  • Develop strong networks at customers and the value chain in his/her application area  
Position Requirements:

Education 
•     Academic technical degree or equivalent through experience 
•    Fluency in English

Experience 
•    5 + years relevant working experience 
•    Strong technical expertise in PE-X and PP-PCT pipe application market
•    Excellent knowledge of the international market in his application area 
•    Ability to build, maintain and influence value chain network 
•    Ability in identifying, capturing and measuring value opportunities.
