Will work for a global manufacturing company based in Geneva, Illinois on first shift and with responsibility for performing both production and facilities maintenance work including breakdowns, equipment repair, PM's, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting. Will take turns with other maintenance techs being on-call for all three shifts. Overtime pay does include on-call pay (4 hours automatically) and Sundays/holiday pay (double time).
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or vocational school training; and related maintenance experience and/or training. Additional maintenance courses would certainly be helpful. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate motor vehicles. Military experience is a plus.
Two most important skills needed are primary electrical skills (including knowledge of wiring, flow of electricity, electrical current and electrical functions) and hydraulic repair experience.
