The Product Manager interfaces with all facets of the business to communicate the product requirements and provide technical support with Engineering, Sales, Production and Marketing, and will play a key role in new product development and product launch.
Primary technical resource for customers, sales team, engineering and production.
Develop tools and documentation to enable promotion and support of product sales (Tech Manuals/Quick Help Guides, troubleshooting steps, best installation practices, etc.)
Product maintenance duties including annual price guide updates, obsolescence planning, inventory management, updating specification datasheets and manuals.
Create new application notes and white papers to promote product interest for targeted customer base.
Support Field Sales with local training and customer presentations, attend tradeshows, manage Demo inventories and create educational product trainings, videos and web resources.
Travel 20 to 40%
1+ years experience in roles supporting, selling or marketing industrial instrumentation or analytical products in the process industries
Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe (Illustrator + InDesign)
Knowledge of spectroscopy and electrochemistry is preferred but not required.
Ability to manage a high volume of technical phone calls and emails
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or related) or equivalent experience
