Responsible:
Oversee risk management initiatives and strategies
Identify and assess risk in all business units and provide an integrated, corporate-wide view, to ensure a risk profile consistent with the companys risk strategy.
Utilize models to quantify the organizations overall exposure to market risk, credit risk, earnings risk and cash flow risk among others, and monitor the exposure to these risks.
In conjunction with the Risk Analyst is responsible for : setting credit limits, monitoring risk metrics and trading limits, development and analysis of various reports and reconciliations to be distributed to internal stakeholders
Participate in the implementation and refinement of company policies relating to the measuring, reporting and management of strategic and operational risks.
Assist in devising appropriate mitigation strategies for significant risks.
Will review gas, power and other contracts and assess for risks to the company.

Skills required:
A BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. MBA highly recommended.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a risk management role, preferably some time in an energy company.
Experience in identifying, assessing and monitoring business risks is required.
Experience with power and gas transactions and associated assets would be a definite plus.
Knowledge of energy contracts also a plus
