****HOT EXCLUSIVE SEARCH****BRAND NEW OPPORTUNITY****

A $25MM division within a $300MM Global Business Unit of a $1B International Manufacturer has just created an opening for a National Sales Manager as part of a succession planning initiative. Will be groomed to eventually become the Senior Manager of the entire division within say 5 to 8 years depending on the individuals ability to learn and succeed in their unique business segment. The company produces turn-key chemical processing equipment / systems to companies in the photovoltaic / solar, biofuel, textile, pharmaceutical, glass, and steel finishing industries, to name a few. Very stable and profitable business unit, who met or exceeded 2009 sales expectations despite the down economy, and is already on target to do it again this year. Great growth opportunity.


REQUIREMENTS:


  1. Must have a BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and 10 to 15 years of experience selling chemical processing equipment. The specific industry, device, and/or application does not matter. Will receive hands-on training and guidance on my clients unique products and industry directly from the Division VP, who will be retiring in roughly 1 to 3 years.
  2. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL ON AVERAGE ABOUT 50-75% OF THE TIME If you cannot commit to that amount of travel, dont apply for this job.
  3. Must be a self-starter, who can wear multiple hats. A do-it-yourselfer. Entrepreneurial spirit also a must.
  4. Prior chemical plant floor / process development experience a plus.
  5. Experience working for a European owned manufacturer a big plus.
  6. Ability to speak, read and write other languages like Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French a big plus, but not required.
