DescriptionJob Description/Responsibilities: We have an outstanding opportunity for a Strategic Accounts Group Manager. Manages National Account Managers in all phases of national account program development to ensure maximum sales and margin growth, productivity and customer retention. Identifies, prioritizes and implements, with the assistance of various functional areas, opportunities and projects aimed at improving National Account sales and associate and customer satisfaction levels. Directs the development of solutions and processes to existing areas for improvement and looks towards the future to anticipate potential improvement opportunities. Develops and fosters a team environment for all National Account Group members. Makes contact with appropriate management levels within potential client organization to propose new national account opportunities for the Senior Strategic Account Managers . Prepares and delivers high level sales presentations that address the existing or new customer's needs and leads to sales/margin growth and customer retention. Gathers, organizes, and analyzes information on targeted high dollar national accounts and competitive activity associated within these accounts for use in potential proposals/contracts. Cultivates and maintains relationships with established national accounts to increase existing business and ensure excellent client relations. Represents national accounts in e-business cross-functional initiatives. Understands and interprets National Accounts sales goals and initiatives so that priorities can be balanced and timeliness established in a cost effective manner. Represents the Strategic Accounts Group in high-level field/sales management meetings to convey National Account direction and strategy. Educates/promotes selling techniques and guidelines for national accounts to all sales related positions within the organization to increase program awareness and sales. Participates in and leads cross-functional or Senior Strategic Account Managers specific teams as required. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required. Required Skills/Education/Experience: • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or the equivalent is required. Minimum of five years business experience is required, including 3 years of National Account Sales management experience. • Must have background managing National Account Managers • Strong computer expertise and business application competencies. • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills. Skills: Knowledge of National Accounts sales/management techniques and processes is required. Business analysis experience and the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities are required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.
